The journey

Enable Care specialises in offering one-to-one nursing care and rehabilitation services for individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABI) and other neurological conditions. Their focus is on helping people regain essential skills to lead fulfilling lives. Due to their reliance on agency support for staffing, Director of Nursing, Rachael Ellis, turned to Florence for a streamlined solution to save time, reduce costs and ensure outstanding care for residents.

 

“At Enable Care, I make sure we stick to policies and procedures, deal with issues appropriately and maintain proper staffing levels. I also support nurses if they have any difficulties on shift, perform audits and create workable action plans,” says Rachael. “We work with unique residents who need one-to-one care and we don’t recruit our own full time staff, so we use agencies a lot. Our parent company started using Florence, found it great and that’s why we started using Florence too.”
