We’re honoured to announce Florence has been recognised as one of the Sunday Times’ 100 fastest-growing companies in the UK.
The Sunday Times 100 ranks private companies with the fastest growth in business over the last three years. Our addition at number #21 on the list is a fantastic marker of our role in helping healthcare teams deliver the best care, across the UK and globally.
Since we launched in 2016, our mission has been to fix the healthcare staffing crisis with the help of technology. In 2022, we announced a Series B funding round totalling $35 million (£28.5 million) to invest in expansion in the UK and other international markets. We already serve more than a quarter of social care in the UK, operate across 99% of the UK, and have seen successful expansion in both France and Canada. In total, we work with more than 500,000 e-learners, 90,000+ nurses and healthcare workers, and over 4000 organisations.
Winning the recognition of the Sunday Times 100 not only shows our accelerated growth, but also the value of our innovative approach.
Dr. Charles Armitage, our CEO commented: “At Florence, we’re committed to delivering the highest-quality care and support, now and in the future. To be featured as part of the 2023 edition of The Sunday Times 100 is an important professional stamp of approval and one we are incredibly proud of. The news marks another amazing milestone in the growth of our company and the role we play in helping solve the staffing crisis in the healthcare industry. To be included on this prestigious list is, I believe, testament to the work we are doing to support the nation’s care workers and the way we provide the building blocks for each stage in an individual’s learning and development.”
We’re thrilled to be included in the list, and are even more excited about the future of Florence.
