What is Florence Academy?

Florence Academy offers free online training for healthcare professionals who work with us. Stay tuned for learning opportunities that become available!

How do I register with Florence?

  • Simply download the Florence app.
  • You can complete your entire registration process via the app.
  • The team will be in touch to offer support.
  • Enter your location and basic details to see if there are shifts available near you.
  • If shifts are available, you can go ahead and complete registration.

What kinds of shifts do Florence offer?

We offer flexible shifts in healthcare facilities and services. This is predominantly long-term care and retirement homes with a view to expand into a greater range of facilities.

What professional certification do I need to work with Florence?

To register as a personal support worker we will need:

  • A copy of your ‘personal support worker diploma’ or equivalent from a recognized college or provider of this qualification.

To register as any kind of nurse we will need:

  • The relevant nurse qualification and current registration with the regulating body, the College of Nurses.

What clinical experience do I need to work for Florence?

We require one year of work experience in a clinical setting.
